Specialties
Chronic Pain and Illness
Living with chronic pain or illness can reshape your whole world. I specialize in supporting people as they navigate the grief, frustration, burnout, and isolation that often come with long-term health conditions. Our work focuses on building a more compassionate relationship with your body, learning to listen to its limits without shame, and developing nervous-system–informed tools that support pacing, resilience, and a fuller quality of life alongside pain or illness.
Trauma
Trauma can leave your nervous system stuck in survival mode, shaping how you relate to yourself, others, and the world long after the danger has passed. In trauma-informed therapy, we explore how past experiences continue to show up in your body, emotions, and relationships, often in ways that feel confusing or out of your control. Together, we work to gently process what’s been holding you back so that present-day moments can feel safer, more connected, and more fully yours.
ADHD
ADHD impacts more than attention or organization; it can impact self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationships, and how you move through a world not built for neurodivergent brains. I work with adults with ADHD to address the anxiety, shame, and burnout that often develop over time, while also building practical, compassionate strategies to support executive functioning. Our work is tailored to your needs and strengths, helping you navigate life in ways that feel more sustainable and supportive.
Expressive Arts
Exploring our thoughts, emotions, and life experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when words aren’t enough. Expressive arts therapy provides a creative, nonverbal way to process and communicate what’s going on inside—using painting, drawing, movement, or sand tray work. You don’t need any artistic experience; the goal is simply to express and explore in a way that feels safe and meaningful. This approach helps you access feelings and patterns in a gentle, embodied way, supporting insight, healing, and personal growth.
LGBTQ+
Providing affirming, trauma-informed therapy that honors the complexity of your identity and lived experience. As a queer therapist, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to concerns such as identity exploration, coming out, minority stress, trauma, relationships, and building a sense of safety in your body and the world. My goal is to offer a space where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are, and where your experiences are met with care and respect.
I also offer gender affirming care letters.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain and body process distressing or overwhelming experiences that may still feel “stuck.” Using gentle bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR supports your nervous system in reprocessing memories so they feel less intense and no longer interfere with daily life. This approach allows healing to unfold in a way that honors your pace, your safety, and your body’s natural capacity to recover.
