 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a safe place to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As a therapist I offer a non-judgmental, confidential space to help you explore your issues or concerns and reach your goals.

  • One-to-one sessions are typically 50 minutes long but can be up to an hour. Sometimes sessions are shorter, lasting 30 or 20 minutes.

I also offer intensive which can last up to 90 minutes.

  • I offer both in person and virtual sessions!

  • Typically individual sessions can begin at once a week while we explore your history, current issues, and concerns. It can be more or less than this based on your needs.

As your symptoms start to improve and you begin to feel better, we might discuss potentially going to every other week or once a month if you would like to continue to schedule “check ins”.

  • Sliding scale payments are an agreement between a therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate for therapy. The cost of a session is adjusted based on a client’s income and financial need. If you are interested please let me know before we begin so we can discuss your options!

  • If you are interested in scheduling you can email me at info@carlybraswellcounseling.com or go to the “Book with Me” button at the top of this page.

  • During the free 15-minute consultation call or video chat, you get to see what it would be like to work with this therapist and ask any questions you have about the counseling process. I will also ask you questions to understand more of what you are looking for and how I can best help you at this time.
